Leg Day is The Best Day

Happy Sunday y'all,

I usually hit legs on Mondays so today I am going to share with you my favorite leg workout!

One day I was in the gym and got so bored with the workout I was doing so I decided to change things up and do a workout I hadn't done before.

By the end of this workout my legs always feel like jello.

This has now become my favorite work, its really effective and leaves me sore the next day.

I love to warm up on the bike for 5 minutes before each leg day because it helps my knees. They ofter hurt while squatting so warming them up is always good.

When doing calf raises I hardly ever use weight, mind to muscle is very effective when doing them and I feel better results that way.



5 min warm up on bike

4X10 heavy on leg extension hold for 5 sec at top and come down slowly 
4X10 light and control leg press 
SS
4X10 holding sumo squats (feel the stretch at the bottom)
4X10 high leg press light 25lb (feel the stretch at the top and hold it for 2 sec)
SS
4X10 Bulgarian squats no weight 
4X10 lunges on smith machine 
SS 
4X15 single leg calf raises, use mind to muscle on this bc there is no weight no rest... go straight back to the lunges 
4X12 RDL 
SS 
4X12 side leg lifts with weight on hip toe pointed up

4X10 squats
